Long-Term Experiments

Along with long-term monitoring, long-term experiments are a defining feature of LTER sites. CAP has engaged in long-term experiments to elucidate specific ecosystem processes.

Large-scale experiments within CAP include the North Desert Village Experiment and fertilization experiments conducted within the “Ecological Response to C and N Deposition from the Urban Atmosphere” or CNDep project.
