Dr. Smith is a researcher in environmental economics. He is a member of the National Academy of Sciences, a university fellow at the Washington, D.C. non-profit think tank, Resources for the Future, and a fellow of the Association of Environmental and Resource Economists and the American Agricultural Economics Association. Dr. Smith directs the Center for Environmental Economics and Policy in the Seidman Institute. He teaches courses on environmental economics and public economics. Selected Publications
