Project Summary
Our final projects were informational signs including pictures and drawings about animals found at Rio Salado to be displayed in a Kiosk at the park and to be made into signs to be placed throughout the park. This semester we experimented with pollination, seed germination, learned about insect body parts, lotic and lentic water systems, and desert versus wetland and tropical ecosystems. Highlights were going to South Mountain a couple of times for research, the Phoenix public library, and Rio Salado. We enjoyed catching insects and bugs of all kinds and forming our own collections.
