Project Summary: Since our theme was water, we decided to create signs for the Rio Salado focusing on water species. We chose what to put on the sign based on what we had learned about the Rio Salado inhabitants. We researched our animals and plants, and drew the pictures.

Semester Highlights: This semester we learned about the importance of water. Some highlights included: making an edible aquifer, exploring insects, filtering water, making a model canal, and learning about water quality. We incorporated our knowledge to benefit visitors with signs to be placed along the trail at the Rio Salado.
