Project Summary: The theme for our project was the circle of life, so we created a game to teach others about the importance of the animals found at the Rio Salado. First, we researched the different animals that could be found at the Rio Salado. We then used molds to create concrete tracks. We then created flip signs to identify which animal makes the track and its importance to the Rio Salado ecosystem.

Semester Highlights: We focused on the circle of life. First we learned about the Rio Salado and the importance of canals historically and today. We then learned about mapping, water quality, adaptations, and birds. One highlight was guest speakers from Liberty Wildlife and Wild at Heart. Both groups showed us live birds and explained their importance to the ecosystem.
