Abstract
This is a two part lesson. The first lesson allows you to gain a sense of how your students think. By looking at pictures of themselves at different ages, students begin to identify and classify changes in their lives. During the second lesson students record observations of Blue Palo Verde seed pods and predict changes over time leading to further investigations.
