Title
Arthropod Diversity

Grade Level
9-12

Protocol
Arthropods

Abstract
This web site incorporates the Ecology Explorers arthropod protocol into a High School Biology and Environmental Biology Course. Incorporated are various lessons and resources good for many grade levels. Objectives for this project include:

  • The student will (TSW) create a dichotomous key to differentiate between different arthropods.
  • TSW use a dichotomous key to classify organisms.
  • TSW create a graph to display and interpret data.
  • TSW compare data and draw conclusions based on trends.
  • TSW create a research question and develop a method to answer the question
